VAG-COM was created on 2000-05-16.
Use a cable and software from VAGCOM.
You need VAGCOM software to do so.
The dealer can reprogram it for you. Or you can search VAGCOM on Google and find someone local to do it for you.
There is no manual over ride for this except to clear the fault with VAGCOM, however if the fault is hardware and it is not rectified the warning light will return instantly.
Your dealer can reprogram the locks for you or you can find someone with a VAGCOM. Google search it and you'll find someone local.
Best bet is to go to an Audi/VW dealership, and have them reset the radio by using a VAGCOM. The other option would be to purchase a VAGCOM yourself (http://www.ross-tech.com/). Of course if you have the actual reset code, you can enter it in manually. I can't tell you specifically how to enter it on the Audi radio, since I have an Audi Navigation system, and the controls are different. But it should be a combination of using Volume and Seek (or other keys the would allow for scrolling) to enter in the code.
maybe the plug under your seat has been unplugged, you will have to check the connections and then get the computer system reset using vagcom by an Audi dealership to see if that has resolved the problem
They have first to be enabled through the VAGCom terminal. According to the market, the factory settings vary. You may reprogram it to some extent (duration) by entering the settings menu on the central display.
The service indicator on an Audi A6 can only be reset with something called the VAGCOM. One may be found on line but it would be better to take in into an Audi dealership or authorized mechanic because more damage can be caused.
Hi wich sensor do u mean, outside sensor? in this case is in the right mirror under is like a button. my recomendation u should chek with a friend with Vagcom ob zour problem is about wiring or the sensir itself. (I have the same problem).
You'll need to find someone with "Vagcom" and this can be done... See here: http://www.ross-tech.com/vag-com/cars/immobilizer.html You'll need the SKC (See above) You'll need to find someone with "Vagtacho" for that one... Good luck. Alternatively, go to the dealer..!
To program a new VW key to the immobilizer, you typically need to use a diagnostic tool or VAGCOM software. First, ensure the new key is compatible with your vehicle model. Connect the diagnostic tool to the OBD-II port, access the immobilizer module, and follow the prompts to program the new key. You may need to enter a PIN code or security code during the process, so having that information is essential.
