i hope so. The new Magazine will hold .38 Special and .357 Magnum. Coonan provides a 10# spring with each new gun to fire .38 Special.
Live videos of performances of songs are often posted on sites like Youtube and Vevo. The song Hold on Loosely by 38 Special is available on those sites.

No. You can fire .38 Special (and .38 Special +P) in any .357 Magnum firearm, not .38 Auto. Do not attempt the reverse (firing .357 Magnum in a .38 Special firearm); the results will be disastrous. The .38 Auto does not have a rim large enough to hold it in a revolver's chamber, and the bullet is most likely not the correct diameter.
Two to six, depending on the make, model, and type of firearm.
I'm not real familiar with the 38-40, but based on what I looked up, I'm going to say no. The 38-40 cartridge uses a .40 caliber bullet, which means the chamber in a 38-40 handgun would be too large in diameter to properly/safely hold the .38 special.
The .38 Special can fire .38 Special, or .38 Long Colt. It cannot fire the .38 S&W, which is fatter and shorter.
