Mercedes does not offer OnStar. OnStar is a product of General Motors and is only available in GM products and Lexus vehicles. There were a couple years were it was available on some Volkwagen and Audi vehicles.

You probably have analog onstar which does not work anymore (not sure when that happened) but only the digital onstar works. If you have the analog and your in an accident onstar will try to connect but it wont work and possibly drain your battery. If you find out this is the case you may be able to upgrade to digital for a lot $$ or you can get it disabled at a Chevy dealership for free
