The prayers - as we Muslims know in the form of how we do them today - was first prescribed as five prayers on the Isra' and Mi'raje journey.
but this doesn't mean that there was no prayer before the journey ..
but I mean that the current form and the count was prescribed in the journey.
And from that date All Muslims in history until today do pray the same way.
any other questions please don't hesitate to ask.

After Shab-e-Mairaj.
I don't say anything because I am not a Muslim. Muslims say "peace be upon him". I have heard anti-Muslims say much ruder things, but I find this unnecessarily insulting. After mentioning the name the holy Prophets the Muslims say, e.g.: Hazrat Abraham (AS- Alai-his-salam or May peace be upon him) After the name of Hazrat Muhammad the Muslims say Sallal la ho alai wasallam or may say the May peace be upon him. The Muslims must respect all the holy Prophets (May peace be upon them all). It is obligatory on them.
Muslims do not worship a certain day of the week as they only acknowledge an extemporaneous God. As for the days upon which a Muslim will worship, Muslims worship every day on the week, but have an extended communal prayer on Friday Afternoon.
Prayer mats are to assure that Muslims will remain clean during their various positions of Islamic prayer. The mat is a barrier between them and the ground or floor. Cleanliness is an important part of the prayer process and ablutions are performed as part of daily prayers.
Muslims turn all together toward the Kabah, the first mosque built by Abraham (peace be upon him) when they pray the ritual prayer 5 times a day
He is called the muathin, also pronounced muadhinor muezzin. He recites the azan, or call to prayer, 5 times a day for Fajr, Duhr, Asr, Maghrib & Ishaa prayers.
Binding in law or conscience; imposing duty or obligation; requiring performance or forbearance of some act; -- often followed by on or upon; as, obedience is obligatory on a soldier.
This Muslims holiday is not to be understood as the day in which God took rest after the six day of universe creation. It is believed by Muslims, and according to the Koran holy book sayings, that God (Allah) do not need to rest after any act of creation. Every thing created by God is by the word 'be' then 'it is'. By this Word Adam was created and by this Word Jesus (peace upon him) was created in the womb of the Virgin Mary (Maryam). The Muslims holiday is Friday. It is called in Arabic 'Al-Gomaaa' that means 'the gathering'. In this day, Muslims gather in the Mosque for the noon prayer "called Al-Gomaa prayer" and to listen to the sermon delivered by the Mosque leader, called Imam. Muslims are allowed to work before and/or after the prayer . They allowed to do all activities as on any other normal day.
Muslims DO NOT PRAY TO MOHAMMAD (peace be upon him),Muslims pray to ALLAH.
Adam (peace be upon him)
The dome of rock is in Jerosalem. It is a sacred place for the Jews, the Christians and the Muslims. This is the place from where the Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (May peace be upon him) ascended on his journey to heavens. The Jews face it while offering prayer. The Muslims also offered prayer facing it for some years. Then on the earnest desire of the Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (May peace be upon him) the Muslims were commanded by Allah Almighty to face Holy Ka'ba while offering prayers.
The Muslims demanded the formation of Pakistan upon the independence of the Raj from the UK.
Nothing. The prayer mat must be clean and should not be stepped upon by shoes or the like.
