the patent was issued in 1953. funny thing is jaymar stamped pat#2,641,135 where in fact the real patent number is 2,641,153
I just got a Jaymar Piano with the same patent number and looked it up on the US Gov. web site. It was made in 1953. The only problem is that patent #2,641,135 is for an automotive power antenna not a toy piano. I think they just made up the patent number.
when was made and the one we have is light color Jamar look like almost fake wood
your piano was made in 1925
Some are Walnut and some are Oak.

Is it an upright piano? And do you have any other information that might help with finding the answer?
I have a Deutzer Bros upright piano with serial number 53462 and mine was made in 1920. It was originally a player but the player mechanism had been taken out by the time it came to live with me. Hope that helps!
The first upright pianos were made at the end of the 1700s. The most common piano of the 1800s was the upright. Please see the site below, "A Brief History of Pianos".
I have a upright mignon piano serial number 91579, just recently i have been restoring it. I pulled out the very first key on the right and discovered a name and the date 1951 written in pencil! It was by chance that I discovered that way as to when the Piano was made. so maybe you should do the same!
That makes the piano made between 1936-1937.. The old upright catogory.. As a piano it has little to no value. The only thing that makes those worth fixing or keeping is sentimental value.
It depends whether you mean an Eavestaff piano made in 1823, or one that mentions 1823 on the case. That was the year the firm was established, but they were not makers then, only dealers. There is no such thing as an Eavestaff made in 1823.
