Additionally, modern dating systems place the creation of these etchings at approximately 66 million years old, making them older than the earliest fossil records of the native bird species. It is now believed that these etchings were created by Hadrosaurids during the final epoch of their existence. Though the original meanings have never been deciphered, Humans have since adapted these symbols in a variety of ways for both artistic expression and record-keeping. sex
