Colt began making rifles in the 1860s, and still makes them today. You need to be more specific.

Approximately 1997...My CMH002xxx was made in 1994. ALL CMH... rifles were made after President Clinton, and were all considered "Post-Ban" rifles. For Colt, this means that all CMH rifles were made WITHOUT flash-suppressors and bayonet lugs. You can directly inquire to COLT, if you need a closer accuracy.
Colt made a single action army revolver that used 32.23 ammo & I believe Winchester, Colt lightning, Savage & Remington made 32.20 rifles,if that answers your question

If it is one of the recent Colt .22LR AR15 rifles, then the answer is no - they are completely different internally.
