When the first Americans settled, they settled in colonies. When they proposed the US constitution, any colony that radified it became a state. Today, there are no colonies because they have all radified the constitution.

The anti-federalists wanted the bill of rights added because they were afraid of "big government." That the Constitution would give the federal government too much power. They wanted to make sure that civil liberties were protected.

Yes he became president. during his time as president arizona and new mexico became states, the 16th ammendment was radified, the dollar diplomacy was done, and the antitrust policy was done. You are welcome! :)
