The Toyota Corolla XRS was put on the market in 2003. This model was released with a 1.8 litre four-cylinder DOHC engine, 170 horsepower and 127 pound-feet of torque. It's made more sporty than the original Corolla, and costs a little more.
The 1.8 liter four cylinder engine in a 2009 Toyota Corolla has a timing CHAIN ( and also the 2.4 liter in the Corolla XRS model )
Most 2006 Corolla's have a 4.4 quart oil capacity. The XRS had a slightly larger capacity, due to increased horsepower rating.

Every Toyota Corolla manufactured from 1998 to 2012 Model year has the 1ZZ FE 1.8Liter engine with a timing chain, no belt, with the exception of the XRS Trim which had a high performance 1.8liter but still a chain, and Toyota sets no interval for changing it
It depends on the kind of Matrix that you have. Both the base 2WD model and the 4WD model have a 1ZZ-FE engine that produces roughly 140hp. The 2WD XRS edition has the 2ZZ-GE engine, which produced 180hp in 2003. As a bit of trivia, the 2ZZ-GE engine was co-developed by Toyota and Yamaha and is used in the Toyota Matrix XRS as well as the Corolla XRS, Celica and the Lotus Exige and Elise.
As of July 2014, the market cap for XRS Corporation (XRSC) is $32,068,103.04.
As of July 2014, the market cap for TAL Education Group (XRS) is $2,148,352,688.52.
Sport. It is the next package including a spoiler, bodykit, and fog lights. But the engine and preformance is the same. ******************* The only Trim offered in 2005 with more HP was the XRS with the High- Performance 1.8 Liter, the standard 1ZZ FE in the S, CE and LE produced 130 HP and the 1.8 Liter in the XRS produced 145 HP. They (the XRS) were not a huge success. The added expense of that little bit of horsepower was not well recieved by Corolla buyers.
you don't. 2003 Toyota matrix xrs does not have a timing belt. It has a timing chain which never needs replacing.
The 2004 Toyota Corolla came equipped in the 1.8L L4 engine only. The rears have a bolt-in hub/wheel bearing assembly. The XRS model did have bolt-in fronts, however the other models need to have their front bearings removed, and greased and then hydraulically pressed-in.
does a toyota corolla have timing belt or chain wit a 1ZZ-FE engine ************ It has a chain. Every Corolla from 1998 to 2012, all trims have the 1ZZ FE 1.8 Liter except the XRS 2005 & 2006 with a 2ZZ GE high performance 1.8Liter, still with a chain
very few so far. Eibach Springs are available, just be patient. Like many Corollas of the recent, the support in the aftermarket may be minimal.
