Roger Hargreaves wrote the original Mr Men books back in the 1970's. Arthur Lowe, a popular older comedy actor from England narrated the 24 books on TV. There is a DVD available of all the characters from the original series which are well worth buying for your children/grandchildren. Only available in the UK although you can probably find it online at Amazon or whsmith.co.UK
