1945 Made by H&R for High Standard / Sears & roebuck
That shotgun was made for Sears by High Standard- it is their Flite King model. It was made from about theearly 1960s for about 12 years. Nice shotguns, BTW.
My references do not list a Pointer model. High Standard was a gun manufacturer in Conneticut, and made several pump, auto and over/under shotguns. Company ceased operations in 1984. Many of the Sear J C Higgins shotguns were made by High Standard, and the Flite-King model was one of their best known. Good shotguns. Not real pricy, not a lot of collector interest, but decent shooters.
The J C Higgins Model 20 was made by Sears / High Standard . Sears owned High Standard in those days. .Sears also held all the rights to manufacture it . It is a true Sears gun. It was the No.1 selling pump action in the 50's try Numrich gun parts West Hurley NY. That is a High Standard Model 200
F.N. Mauser, 1950 or so. High Standard made all but the FN Action and the plastic parts http://www.histandard.info/PDF/Sears%20CF%20Rifles.pdf
