When we found our small turtle he was covered with mud he is about the size of a dollar but he will not eat anything how do i get him to eat help?

Well, first you have to get him comfortable. Try to find out what he likes. Turtles like lettuce. Try that. Yes, lettuce is good, but not iceberg lettuce. try carrots, celery, lettuce, broccoli, or cauliflowerl.
