PACCAR builds Peterbilt and Kenworth
After doing some research, I have found your answer. Yes they do. There is quite a bit of price difference as well, almost double.
If interested in a custom peterbilt, you should check out: www.triplerdiesel.com/sections/inventory/newInventory.asp. It has general information on peterbilts as well as where you can buy one.
Well im not so sure about this but i know, Peterbilt is committed to Caterpillar Engines, but i know has Cummins, and Detroit...etc. The first Peterbilts, the Peterbilt 260, had an HB6 150 horsepower Cummins.
Peterbilts can go anywhere from $40, 000 to over $100, 000. The best option would be to go to their website and see what they have available. It also shows you local dealers in your area.
There was a time when Peterbilt was the Cadillac of trucks, that is no longer the case. Personally I prefer to drive Peterbilts over Kenworth. Do I think it is a better truck? No, most trucks today are built for sale in the same market, competition has kept them much the same when it comes to quallity. But this is just my opinion
All numbered 1987 Peterbilts will have a brass plate riveted to the glove box on the passenger side. Only certain 359's got numbered in 1987. Not all of them. They had to come from the factory with vortox stainless air cleaners, big bumper, and several other options in order to be classified as a numbered truck.
First off, if you're driving a truck, and calling it a "gas cap", something is a bit awry here. Although lots of entry level companies have Peterbilts in their fleet now (such as Werner, JBS, TMC, even Swift has a couple), so I shouldn't be surprised. The simple answer - YES, you should be worried. That was a very careless thing to do, and you'll probably need to have your fuel system drained out now.
Made
"Made of" and "Made from" can mean the same thing. "That can is made from aluminum." "That can is made of aluminum." However, they can't be used the same in every situation. You can say: "That house is made of wood and made from workers." But you can't say: "That house is made of workers and made from wood."
It was made it was made on the Internet
The Parthenon was made in Acropolis and Iktinos and Kallikrates made it.
