M1 Garands with Bayonets were mainly used to take Japanese positions in the Pacific during World War II
Originally walnut, but birch and beech have also been used. Per the US Civilian Marksmanship Program - which sells M1 Garands to US citizens.
No, the M1 Garand bayonet will not fit the 03A3 Springfield rifle. The M1 Garand and 03A3 Springfield have different bayonet lug designs and dimensions, so their bayonets are not interchangeable.
Airsoft M1 Garands go for around $400, and can be found at numerous airsoft gun sites. Realistic non firing replicas are made by Hudson, and go for around $600
Yes. Do you own a Garand? If so, what maker, and what condition? If not, what kind would you buy? I like the lifetime warranty on the new Springfield Armory Garands, but I am also looking at the Miltecharms.com site. Any feedback appreciated.

The M1 Garand was first fielded in 1936.

The bayonet designed specifically for the M1 Garand also had the nomenclature of M1. However, prior to 1943, M1905 and M1942 bayonets were used. There was also the M1905E1 bayonet, which were older M1905 and M1942 bayonets which had been recalled, had the blade shortened to 10 inches, and were reissued.
Go to CMP to find M1 Garands and M1 Carbines. Also, go to http://www.m1garand.com, they will tell you everything...
your serial number is to high for military M1 garands
A well supplied gun dealer will have M1 Garands, and most gun shows. IF you are an adult US citizen, you may also buy an M1 from the US Govt. Do an internet search for Civilian Marksmanship program. They also have M1 Carbines, and a few .22 Target rifles. Sorry, No M14s.
miltech garands look great and their price is great. why not look at other sites such as: gunboards.com gunbroker.com. gunsinternational.com
I think it was the M1 Garand. It was also the Springfield 1903, they used those when they couldn't make enough Garands.
There is no way to get the M1 Bayonet for BFBC2
