In reference to the Twin Towers of the Original World Trade Center in New York City (now destroyed): Separate sections of the Twin Towers opened individually between the years of 1970-1973. The ribbons were officially cut on April 4, 1973.
The north tower was opened in dec. 1970. The south tower was built in jan. 1972.
