It was most likely to come out on May 29, but since that past try the online version of minecraft, update Java to Java 6 ( the minecraft launcher will be updating), update possibly to the latest "snapshot (13w series)", or it will most likely come out sometime by the middle of June or early July 2013, based on when the updates are coming out. All I can say is be patient. Minecraft 1.6.0 will be a huge update.
