There are no averages in Michigan! Some years you'll see flurries in mid-October; other years we (Metro Detroit) don't have snow until past Thanksgiving! Northern Michigan will see snow in October and November more consistently than Southern Michigan.
Probobly well whenever it wants! I live in Michigan and it is Jan 2nd and we havnt had one prominent snowfall! So yeah.

I live in Michigan and honestly, it is the most unpredictable state for weather. We could have 65 degree days one day, then snow on the ground the next day. If you love climate change every day or every month, Michigan is the place to be!
