Where to find shaymin Pokemon platinum?
Shaymin is at the top of route 224. You need Oak's Letter. After you beat the Pokemon League, go to route 224 with Oak's Letter and talk to him. He will show you the stone tablet and ask you whom you give your thanks to. When you tell him, the ground will change and there will be flowers everywhere. There will be a narrow path up ahead. Then shaymin will appear. Shaymin will look at you, then it will run away. Go down the Seakbreak Path to find Shaymin. (use your bike) Shaymin is located at the Flower Paridise.

How can you catch shaymin in Pokemon platinum?
You receive an event item (oak's letter) and go to route 224 and go to the weird stone and professor oak will be there. Talk to him and he will ask you something (I can't remember). Reply anything and a path will appear called seabreak path and you go down it and shaymin will be there but it will run away. Chase it Dow n the (really long) path and you will enter a small flowery island and you battle shaymin. Don't bring your strongest Pokemon because shaymin is only lv30.
Can you get shaymon in Pokemon platinum?
Yes you can but you have to get oaks letter and put it on the mirror rock thing on route 244. To get to route 244 you must have Pokemon that know strength, rock climb, rock smash and swim(or something like that). Swim makes it A LOT easier. Fly if you have already been to route 244. After you put oaks letter on the mirror rock then a long path will go in front of you and Shaymin will be there. Shaymin will run away and you will run after it. It is a long path and at the end go to the top story of flower paradise and shaymin will be there. Save before you battle so if you kill shaymin you won't have to do all the steps again and if you do kill shaymin turn your DS off right away.
