The four horsemen of the Apocalypse have been global constants since Adam and Eve chose to worship the serpent instead of God, thus breaking the First Commandment.

They are false religion, wars, famines, diseases and pestilences.

These "horsemen" overlap one another and are directly related to each other. Most wars in history directly or indirectly resulted from religious differences... and famine and disease naturally follows in the wake of death and war.

Jesus warns us to be aware of them, but that they are the natural results of man's sins, and to expect them.

"...see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.

He says, however, that these "horsemen" will all increase and compound in their destructiveness until they finally bring the world to an unprecedented time in history like no other time before it or after, called Great Tribulation, that will end all life on earth if God doesn't cut it short at the end.

"...except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened." (Matt.24:22)

The "four horsemen" have been riding from the beginning, and are the "main staples of man's life on earth."

The Four Horsemen are a metaphorical concept often associated with the biblical Book of Revelation, representing conquest, war, famine, and death. It is not a literal event that will occur in the future.

Yes. They symbolize "false religion, war, famine and disease."

"'Take care,' Jesus answered, 'that no one mislead you; for many will come in My Name saying. ''I am the Christ,'' and will mislead many. And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars; see to it that you are not afraid. SUCH THINGS MUST HAPPEN, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom (Isa.19:2), and there will be famines and earthquakes in various places. ALL THESE THINGS ARE THE BEGINNING OF BIRTH-PANGS.'" (Matt.24:4-8 MNT Montgomery New Testament)

We all witness, see, and live with these things, daily. They are the tragic effects of our "sins" [the cause of which is the breaking of God's Commandments - I John 3:4]. But we have all come to view "these things" as "normal life on planet earth"... and few people seem to notice. Or resign themselves to merely accept what they can, apparently, do nothing about.

But, yes... we all see one or more of these "horsemen" every day of our lives.

No. They are symbolic representations of Conquest, War, Famine and Death, though some interpretations differ, of the Christian Apocalypse.
