April 8, 2024. The path of totality crosses Mexico, bisects Texas, and continues through Arkansas, Indiana, Ohio, and across the northern tier of states to Maine. In Texas, the path of totality just misses San Antonio to the northwest, hitting Waco and blacking out the path between Fort Worth and Tyler, on the way to Cape Girardeau, MO.
