Through it away, i had one, and put three times what is was worth into it.
I have a 1989 Chevy Cavalier, and I need to know how to put freon in to use the air conditioner in my Cavalier. Right now it is blowing hot air, would like cold air. Please help me.
Possibly. Depends on what kind it is. Most go from '98 to '02, then '03 to 05, but others fit all of those models.
If you live in a cold climate the more the better.
5- 10 hp depending what is done to the car
I'd check the coolant level first, then the thermostat.
Broken Belt?
A 97 Chevy Cavalier can take standard 10w30 motor oil as it provides good all around performance. A lower viscosity oil is more desirable in cold weather.
check the coolant level, or, possible stuck thermostat.
Your cooling system is empty of coolant and you must have a large leak somewhere.
5W30 in cold weather. 10W30 in hot weather.
if it is broken then take it in to the shop
You may have a bad head gasket and it may be leaking from that. Why when cold i dont know, but if you are losing coolant it may be the head gasket.
