What do you do if a customer ask you for something and you say you che ck on it and be back with response in 20min but boss tells you of last minute meeting and it is 1150 meeting to start at 12?

People who talk with customers are special people because the customer is #1. I'm sure if you tell your boss that you are going to be a little late because you are working on a customer issue and have to respond by 12:10, that he will understand. Just make sure you keep your phone conversation short. Say what you have to say and then if they want more, say you have to leave the phone for an hour and will call him back afterwards. If the boss doesn't understand, then call back the customer and say you have found it will take longer than you thought and will call him back in an hour.

How do you solve customer complaints?

If a customer has a complaint you should act with sympathy and politeness. Make sure you apologise and make the customer feel valued, tell him/her that you will tell your boss to make sure the problem is solved or if you can solve the problem then do so. Ask your boss for more advice though
