The engine/transmission needs servicing/repair.
Daytime running light module may be the problem
Unplug daytime running light module. It is located on driver side just under the front of the truck.

what about the day running lights? You want to know how to turn them off?If you do then once you start the truck turn the light switch to the left and that shuts them off.
passlock
If the check engine light is flashing with the engine running , that means a spark plug misfire has been detected
No - you do not need to have the truck running.
the oil pressure in the engine rises when the truck is warming up causing the light to show, if continues after the truck has been running, change oil and oil pump.
it means that you have a bulb out somewhere on your truck.... IE backup light, brake light, turn signal, running light.. etc etc..
The daytime running light module is found on the front driver of the Ford F 150. It is underneath truck mounted to the front bumper and connected to the wire harness.
the service engine light is on due to the fact that there is a problem with your truck, this is confirmed by the way your truck is running. you need to get a engine diagnostic check at an auto shop. may just need a tune-up, or the truck has a bad sensor, or engine woes.
I HAVE A 2003 CHEVY AVALANCHE, MY SPEEDOMETER WORKING, THE ABS AND THE BRAKE LIGHT APPEARS WHILE IM DRIVING THE ENGINE LIGHT TURNS ON AND SAYS REDUCE SPEED POWER. THEN THE TRUCK SHUTTS OFF.I TOOK IT TO BIG O TIRES SHOP, SUPPOSEBLY THEY FIX IT, BUT I'M HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM. COULD U THINK IT COULD BE THE SPEEDOMETER OR THE COMPUTER GOT TO GET RESET.
