The trap is at the bottom right. The easiest way to get it is to go right first, then down. You do not need oxygen to get back up.

To grip the light, you use a lobster. To get the lobster, you need to go underwater and get the lost cage for Cap'n Salty. (see the related question)

You find the lobster trap and give it to Cap'n Salty. He will give you a lobster and the keys to his jet ski. Climb to the top of the lighthouse and use the lobster as a wrench to turn the light and scare the seagull from the school. While there, look through the telescope to see your next destination, which is Seal Island. Race Nate to get the map from the rock.

You get the keys from the lobster guy. Then you ride. Jump when necessary to reach the island. Be faster than Nate!!

Swap it for scuba gear at the photo shop, and dive to recover Cap'n Salty's lost lobster trap. *Pliers on 24 carrot island are "wire cutters". (See related question)

Use the lobster to crank the lighthouse light. Turning it left will scare the seagull from the school's bell tower.

Once you have the lobster, climb the lighthouse and use it to turn the light to the left, scaring away the bird.

The old sailor (Cap'n Salty) will give you the keys to his jetski, and a lobster from the trap. You use the lobster as "pliers" to turn the lighthouse light and scare the seagull away from the school bell tower. You look through the lighthouse telescope and see the paper on the seal island.
