This is like asking if throwing coins in a wishing well will make your wish come true. In reality the wish may or may not come true, but it doesn't come true because you blew out candles asking for it. It just happens. It may be God, karma, or pure luck. But maybe we just blow out candles because we like to think that the wishes actually come true. Everyone needs a little hope in their life!
