When you cancel your membership on club penguin does your clothes and membership stuff still stay?

They stay, but you wont be able to use them unless you got them free. If you become a member again, all of your things will be back. However, your puffles will stay and you can see them.

Why does it show nonmembers wearing clothes that you have to be a member to use on club penguin?
Because if your membership runs out and you havent changed your clothes it still shows you wearing the same clothes that you wore before your membership ran out.

You click on forget penguin. (Note: the penguin will still exist)If you want to throughly delete it (penguin doesn't exist) then you need to E-Mail CP saying "Please delete the account XXXXXX". Yah i didnt even mean to click it and it was gone and i was like whoa!

Only the free items, the member items are still in your inventory but you can't wear them until you re-new your membership.

How do people in Club Penguin have member items when their membership has expired?
If you somehow delete your membership or it expires then your bought clothes will still be in your inventory but they will be faded out so you can't use them. The only way to use them is to buy another membership. However, you can get some exclusive items by buying a Club Penguin toy and entering the toy code.
