Remove it's data from the Macintosh HD volume on your computer. Be sure to check your kernel if the virus is still on your master volume.

When you right mouse click over the 'Start' icon it takes over 1 minute for the menu to appear What has gone wrong with your computer?

It could be several things, but the most likely is that there is some kind of program running on your machine which is sucking up all of its memory resources and slowing it down. If it is not just the start menu that takes a long time, but any task you ask the computer to do, try pressing Control+Alt+Delete and then selecting "Task Manager." When the task manager comes up, there's a tab you can click on that says "processes." Look at your processes and look under the "Memory" heading. If any of them are taking up an enormous amount of memory, look at the name of the program. Look up the program online to see what it is, if you don't recognize it to try and determine if it is a spyware or other malicious program. Looking at my task manager right now, firefox.exe (this web browser I'm using right now) is taking up about 212,000 K. If you looked and a program were using more than that, like say 800,000 K or some enormous number then that could explain why the computer suddenly slowed down. It's important to be sure exactly what that program is, however, before you try to take it off your computer. You also might want to try using free antivirus software like AVG FREE to scan your system. This answer I have listed is the most common answer to that problem, but there could be others.

You just got Norton Antivirus and it has greatly slowed down your computer and the Internet is possibly worse than before What can you do to speed it up and fix the Internet?

If it is slowing your computer down that much, you must not have enough RAM memory. Thus, you would have to purchase and install more RAM. I'm not an expert; hopefully someone can suggest another option.
