i have same problum i scan hole PC using antivirus then restart PC it work do it.

If you want to stop it from putting syncguid.dat on every drive you use do the following. Click on the start button at the bottom left of the screen Type in the box msconfig Click on msconfig In msconfig in the Startup Tag untick sysncables desktop Apply and OK You will then be asked to do a Restart so Restart your PC You can now delete all the syncguid.dat files
Click start>click run type in msconfig and then press enter. Goto the start up tab and uncheck everything except your anti virus.click ok and reboot. When you come back to the desktop check the box 'do not show this message again" and click ok .
