In spite of its name, your periods are most irregular and you can't predict an exact date of beginning or end. If you notice an important delay in your cicle, you may want to see a doctor to make sure whether you are pregnant or to find out if there is something wrong in your body.
Depends on your age. Your period starts usually from ages 9-16. So it's normal to start early ( whatever that means). But if you don't have your period by the age of 16 then you should consult your doctor.
It is not normal to get your period that early. If a 5 year old did start her period then it would be recommended that she see a doctor.
Hi, You should continue taking your pills as normal and as they were prescribed to be taken by your doctor.
February being a short month should have nothing to do with your period start date. So if your period starts late in March, it is not as a result of how many days are in February. Your period should come when it is due; if it is later than usual, you might want to take a pregnancy test or consult your doctor.
Depending on your age it can be, but irregularities in the menstrual cycle should always be reported to your OBGYN. If the problem persists, discuss it with him/her. Always remember to keep track of when your menstrual cycles start and end for medical references.
that happens all the time, especially when your new to periods. its normal. sometimes it just happens. but you should talk to your doctor if this happens more than once in a row.
The average age of menarche (first period) is 13 years old but everyone is different - there is nothing to say that you would start your period at 13 years old. Anything between 10-16 is considered normal to reach menarche, if you get to 16 without reaching menarche then you should talk to your doctor but otherwise no one can tell you when you will start to menstruate.
To delay your period you can use a drug called Norethisterone, prescribed by your doctor.Norethisterone is essentially a progesterone pill so it overrides the drop in progesterone that would normally trigger menstruation to start. You start taking the pills three days before your period is due, continuing to take them three times per day up until you want your period to start - typically menstruation will start within 48 hours of discontinuing the pill, it should behave as normal too.
Yes u should b worried u should go to the doctor kuz yo period supose to start b4 u turn 16 u shouldv'e went to the doctor 5 years ago to see what was goin on! Go to the doctor asap it not like u can die from it,it's just not normal. Yes but if you have took drugs before then it would stop you from having your periods .
In my experience I was on the shot for atleast 3years and I never had a normal period either. In fact I didn't have a period at all. You may just be having your period and it has not been normal so I think you need to go to the doctor.
If you've just started your period, especially if you are sexually active (God you are so young), you need to get established with a doctor for regular female check ups, and maybe some birthcontrol. I would not say that it is abnormal, but you should start taking care of yourself.
It depends on the directions that your doctor has given you and yes you should follow them exactly as your doctor knows what is best for your body....although you can either start your pills on the first day of your period or there is a Sunday start where you take the first pill in the pack on the first Sunday after you start your period hope this helps, Good Luck and God Bless!!!
