A "premonition" is a feeling that something (usually bad) is going to happen before it does happen - a foreboding.
Foreboding. It means that you're guessing that something bad is gonna happen in your future.
It is very unfortunate but think about the amount of times you've felt like something bad was going to happen and something bad didn't happen. It is an unfortunate coincidence.
