Ringworm is a fungal infection. You come in contact with the spores and if you have a weak spot in your skin, the fungus will start to grow there. They grow in a circle, which is why it's called ringworm.
The first recording I found was on the album "Come Dance With Me" which was released on December 9, 1958

H*** no maybe on the cheek
Hippos typically come out to graze at night when it is cooler. They run the risk of getting sunburnt so coming out of the water at night is helpful in that respect as well.
Here do this quick example to answer your question. Put your dominant hand on your cheek and then extend it all the way to the right, then return to your cheek. Repeat the process a couple times. How does your cheek feel? A little flustered, but your cheek did not receive a lot of energy. Now put your hand against your cheek again but this time go only a couple inches away to the right this time. Repeat this process a couple times. Your slapping yourself a lot more and your cheek is receiving more energy than when you extended your hand all the way. This applies to how your hand was a wavelength, as you went farther from your cheek(bigger wavelength) you experienced less energy be cause it took a while for your hand to come back to your cheek, while the shorter wavelength gave you more energy in the same amount of time. I guess we both win I imagine someone in the world slapping themselves and you get your answer question. Bon apetiet!
Probably both. Your cheek cells, which scrape off easily, are eukaryote. The mouth is full of symbiotic bacteria which are prokaryote.
