When you jailbreak your itouch using blackra1n the screen goes black?

So i plug my 3rd generation itouch into my laptop and its updated to 3.1.2. I have jailbrokin it before and for some reason now when i attempt the blackra1n "make it rain" box says "waiting for reboot" any suggestions on how to jailbreak it successfully?

∙ 12y agoThe screen will sometimes go black when the I pod needs to reset do not worry it will u will not loose anything you just need to hold the home and sleep buttons down for 15 seconds and then let go of just the home button until the apple sign comes on

2 gen iPod touch non MC model and it hasn't been jailbroke before you have tried to jailbreak it but it never works with redsn0w its version 3.1.3 adn your itunes is 9.0.3.15 could someone help please?

Well that means that you bricked it so you can't do anything about it but you can try restarting your iPod touch it might work remember one thing did you restore your iPod touch before you got blackra1n that might of caused the problem
How do you reboot a itouch?
Hold both the top lock button and the home button until the screen goes black. DO NOT slide to power down. Release the buttons when your iTouch shows the apple symbol. NOTE: If you continue to hold the buttons after the symbol shows it will put your iTouch in restore mode and delete all of your data.

The trim is pretty much black and silver. The back-side is silver with, of your choice, a white apple logo. When the screen is off it's black. When it's om, it can be any color due to apps, and your background.

It's a faulty pixel on the LCD screen matrix. Very common. Can be denied as a fault by many manufacturers of LCD screens and referred to instead as a "screen feature", thus allowing for warrantees to be unfulfilled... Apple are pretty good at replacing as they pay great lip service to screen quality.
