Trampolines are not a waste. They are fun. And the energy you use to jump up and down on a trampoline is chemical rather than thermal, although some heat is generated as a byproduct.
The physics in a trampoline are pretty cool I think. You have to bring up Newton's third law that says the an action has an equal and opposite reaction. This is applied as soon as you walk onto a trampoline and you can feel yourself bounce a little. What is happening is that the place that you jump on is stretched taunt and as soon as you step down, you transfer force onto the trampoline. The trampoline then, with its elasticity, flexes down and tries to push back up to its original shape. This pushes the object or person up with the force equal to the one that pushed the trampoline down. This is also the reason that you can jump. What it is, is that the earth is pushing back on your foot instead of the trampoline. This is works on everything from walking to a space ship taking off. It is the reaction that most people realize is happening.
You rub it on your hair. This causes static electricity, thus making your hair stand stick up.P.S:Sorry i know its not a big deal but it makes it sound like your hair was sitting and then it gets up.
this is because of induction of charge .
The electricity is trying to find a way to "escape" so it takes the path of least resistance--your hair.
The way to jump 20 feet it to first practice on a trampoline about 9 times every day then after a week or so mentally visualize you jumping on the trampoline and actually jump up then you can jump up 20 feet in the air!
These skills are needed in high jump Flexibility Speed Power Aerial Awareness
Make circles with your arms when you jump. or when you go down bend your knees when you go up streighten them. Keep in the same spot on the trampoline
if you take a very fast run-up then suddenly stop then jump you will get a much higher jump, but you could just use a trampoline!

you stick one in and then you stick another one in
The first thing you need to do is connect the metal pieces of the base. The springs will then need to be attached. Finally, you will want to attach the top piece to each spring with the loops.
Go into the bathroom... jump up onto the sink/counter... jump up onto the outlet to the hair drier... jump onto the hair dier...stand on the back of the hair drier making it tip back... jump onto theRED button...air will shoot out.. jump into the air that is shooting out... it will take you into the tub Your Welcome!

Well I hadn't actually done trampolining before, but I know some exercises. First of all to warm up you need to do some gentle jumps. e.g. Star jump, normal jump, spin around jump (where you jump and spin)! Then maybe jump higher and make yourself do a little more like maybe do a dance. You can make a dance up or something. I would say do it for about half an hour to an hour then cool yourself down. Just remember to don't suddenly stop. Get off the trampoline, then gently jog and walkabout.
