The Clipboard is part of the operating system. You don't need to launch it. The clipboard can copy, cut, and paste. To copy, select something and press command c To cut, select something and press command x To paste, put the cursor where you want something, and press command v To use the Find/Replace function in MS Word, press command f, then click the replace button. A window will open where you insert words to find and words to replace them with. The advanced button will allow you to replace styles as well.
To avoiding this process you can perform Hatchedit command. Also you can perform this operation doing double left click on the hatch pattern or selecting it and right click mouse, then select option > Edit Hatch.

Congratulations. You now have proof that you have a clipboard.
