If you have sensitive teeth, you might feel a little bit of pressure, but don't worry. It's not painful. After the next couple of days, your teeth may feel a bit sore. Try to eat soft foods like mashed potatoes, soup, apple sauce, Jell-O, etc. The orthodontist should also give you wax to put on your teeth when they feel sore. It's fine if you swallow the wax. It won't hurt you! Good luck with your braces!

∙ 14y agowell, right now i have braces and now my teeth are straight. when the orthodontist puts your braces on, it doesn't really hurt. you don't really feel anything. after you get your, your teeth start to hurt because they start to move since the braces are making them move. so don't worry. everything will be great. :D :) :P

Do braces hurt while putting them on?
To me the braces doesn't hurt. Before thinking of getting braces think of a person putting super glue on your teeth it doesn't hurt that bad. Then you can choose your color for your braces 1 time every month. But if you put your braces like when you are 17 it hurts more so I recommend you to do your braces as soon as possibleI took out my braces already. =]
