yes they can ive seen it done to a buddy before he never saw his tax return he called the IRS and come to find out a debt collector took all of his refund. As already answered and discussed here a zillion times- ONLY the governments can get your tax refund. Anyone saying anything else is a liar.
Complete the saying: "as silent as a mouse."
So you were expecting a tax refund from the IRS after you filed a tax return. Insteasd of getting your refund, the IRS sent you a letter saying that your refund was used (garnished) to satisfy your back tax debt. What is going on? This means that you have a back tax liablility with the IRS and the IRS will take your refund to satidfy that debt. If you got your refund check garnished and you were unaware you owed the IRS, you need to take care of this situation fast. The IRS can start enforced collections against you and go as far as garnishment of your pay and levy your bank accounts. You can find out more at wallysworldoftaxes.blogspot.com.
It may be there are no debts because it was taken out of the refund but I would double check that the first letter wasn't a scam.
I'm not exactly sure what your saying..if it is that you filed a return claiming money was withheld from your pay, but no W2 was provided...send copies of your paystubs showing the withholding and the employers ID number.
As long as you still have the receipt, Lowe's will accept returns and exchanges within 90 days of the furniture's purchase. In saying this, the furniture must be in the same new condition you purchased it in for a successful return.
..there is a way.
there's a way?!?!?!?!?!?!

I got this code on the "where is my refund" on IRS.GOV when I checked to see what date I should expect my return. I had already had my refund "Accepted" according to Turbo Tax but when I checked this am it said there has been a delay and to call the IRS and give reference code 1541. I called IRS and they are saying I am having my refund looked into for alleged unreported income from 2011. They didn't say much else except they will be in touch. I would assume if you get this code you are being looked into for one reason or another. Hope this helps.
This is another way of saying 'expensive'.
You will not be able to return a two year old iPod Touch and demand a full refund because you do not agree with Apple's latest iTunes privacy policy. You can opt out off location-based services on the settings menu of any iOS device, or you can say you do not agree to the new privacy policy in which case you will not be able to set up an iTunes Store account but you can still activate and access any Apple device in iTunes.
