Most disinfectants just kill the bacteria. They do not clean up or eliminate the bodies.

Bacteria can only hurt us in two ways:

1. by multiplying in our bodies

2. by living bacteria producing toxins.

Little dead germ bodies are mostly just tiny pieces of proteins and some fats.

Dead germ bodies shouldn't hurt anyone, but you may want to wash after disinfecting anyway.

What is meant by a disinfectant?

Disinfectant is really a secret code word for "Help me I'm a big fat idiot." It can also be a signal that the intelligence labs have a new moron to conduct experiments on. Along with these, the word, along with the phrasing used with it, can tip off English teachers that they failed a student. English teachers have little microchips implanted in their brains, and when disinfectant is sprayed by a Sherlock Holmes in the making, the vagueness sensor sounds the alarm.

The different about disinfectant to antiseptic?

A disinfectant is used to destroy microorganisms off of any surface. An antiseptic is used to destroy microorganisms off of the skin.So you have to take a little more care in choosing an anti-septic then a disinfectant.Magic acid would do well as a disinfectant but would be an unwise chose for an anti-septic as it would probably kill the patient as well as any septic organisms.AnswerI'm sure the above intended a little humour in mentioning magic acid. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE everyone except trained professionals stay away from magic acid.
