Bring to a shop that has an ABS scanner to determine the problem

which one right,left, front, rear
Check the transmission fluid level.
was wondering where the inertia switch is on a 1996 Mazda protege
Mazda Demio was created in 1996.
If it's the same as the 1996 Ford Ranger it should be in the right front passenger footwell , in the right corner , above the carpet , by the kick panel
Just behind the right corner of the front bumper. You have to remove the black cover under the car to see it. Mazda hide it pretty well.
if your car is automatic there should be no speed limiter, but if it is 5 speed manual, put an ECU out of an automatic 1996 240sx and the problem will be solved. im almost positive the ecu is OBD1 in the 1996, but make sure youre putting in the same OBD ecu.
