check area @ the leak = radiator (front of vehicle) hoses, failed water pump, leaking head gasket, cracked engine block. There lots of things , just look around ,and follow leaks upwards.
You have a leaking heater core. You might smell antifreeze if you turn on the defroster.
no but if in the winter you do not put in the car the engine will freeze you can also use water during the summer No!
The smoke is actually antifreeze mixed with air. The most common cause of this is a leaky heater core.
You can but then the mixture will turn into gel and your entire coolant system will be ruined. If you continue driving your engine will overheat and your car, destroyed.
There is a open on the sender side of the circuit. Ground the sender wire and if it goes to low then it is the sender if not then the circuit is open.
antifreeze smell inside car means that there is antifreeze leak somewhere. first check for wet spots under car when parked after running.if anti freeze is leaking from engine it will pool on the ground next check to see if heater core is leaking. that is usually the problem. if heater core is leaking, replace it
A small amount of antifreeze smell may be emitted from the radiator overflow. However if you smell antifreeze you need to make sure there isn't a leak. It may be something simple if you catch it early.
Negative - (Black) is Ground, Positive + (Red) is Hot. Ground wire goes to Negative (Black) it goes from negative on battery to engine for ground.
The driver of the car!
=To properly flush the antifreeze on a 2002 Yukon you will need a antifreeze vacume system you will need to start the car and have it running turn on all the heating modules to high and have the car reved at about 1.5 r.p.m, or a little higher to activate the vaccume this will start sucking the old antifreeze out. When the radiator is empty{you will know when it is empty because there will be no more antifreeze coming out}you can then fill it up with half and half antifreeze[half water half antifreeze].=
When a car horn goes off while the car is switched off, it means the horn has a bad ground.
You either have a leak or your engine is using antifreeze. If your engine is using antifreeze, it will usually be caused by a leaking head gasket, cracked head or block. If your engine is using it rather than a leak, pay attention when the car is running. If there is white smoke coming out of the exhaust it is a problem within the engine. If there is a leak, lift the hood and look for steam arising from anywhere, also look on the ground for any antifreeze dripping onto the ground. If all that checks ok get in your car and turn your defroster on. If your window gets covered in moisture and the moisture smells sweet and looks like a weird color, it is your heater core in the dash leaking, also the heater core can make the floor board wet wherever it is located.
