I am not a mechanic but when my BMW did that it was just low on Power Steering fluid. It has a pin hole leak in the hose assembly but hasn't lost any significant fluid now for months. I will eventually need to replace the hose assembly, however.
It is most likely due to a loose power steering belt. If the steering wheel is hard to turn at speeds slower than 40mph or it gets harder the more you turn it and the squeaking noise happens when you turn the wheel, then you need to check the tension on the power steering belt.
Check the fluid in the power steering. If it is low the car will make noise when you turn the wheel.
Power steering or wheel bearing?
your right half shaft needs to be replaced ,it is covered by a rubber bellow that cinnects to your wheel
check wheel bearings and cv joints if applicable
The wheel has a whole in it.
my guess is the lower motor mount
If the pitch of the noise increases with speed and also comes and goes in turns i.e. it goes away in a left turn and returns or gets louder in a right turn it is probaly a wheel bearing going bad.
Usually it is a warning sign of your wheel bearing going bad.
Worn left front wheel bearing.
