When you turn your key over in your 1989 Honda CRX you get gas shooting up and out through you air intake and air filter and it just floods Any suggestions?

Your float is stuck and is allowing gas to keep pouring into the carb, even when the reservoir is full. Try tapping the reservoir with a wrench( very lightly) so you don't damage the reservoir.
