This may very well be a problem with your ground connections at that turn signal.
Use the same switch for the front wipers. Once the front wipers are switched on, the rear wiper will come on as well. However, a reverse twist of the switch would turn on just the rear wiper.
Well, actually they shouldn't - if other bulbs dim when a turn signal is activated, that usually indicates a short or other fault in the circuit, or a problem with the bulbs themselves.
It's the socket the dealer should give you the upgraded socket. It's a common problem, you have to access it from the wheel well.
I hate to say it, but when I had this problem, it WA because I didn't connect one of the plugs well and it came apart.
i have a 1999 Chevy suburban 1500ls and the check gages light comes on intermitten. my truck runs well. however, yesterday i took about 100mi and now its making a slight ticking noise that i never heard before.
So that traffic behind you is able to anticipate your turn, and can act accordingly.
To allow others [drivers and pedestrians] to know what we intend to do.
Well, you don't state the poblem, but if all your turn signals are not working and flashing as they should, replace the Turn Signal Flasher Relay.
The hazard relay is the turn signal relay as well. The grinding noise is actually the relay buzzing trying to engage. Mine made the noise occasionally and now the turn signals do not Work at all. TIME TO REPLACE THE RELAY.
did u mean turn signal flasher? well, if it's that it's in the Power Distribution Center, where the AC/heat is connected as well
A fast flashing turn signal, on most any vehicle, is an indicator that a turn signal bulb is going out or has gone out on that side(i.e. front turn signal on passenger side flashing fast, check the rear turn signal bulb on passenger side.) This will cause the light on your dash board to flash fast as well. This is generaly a good time to replace all of the bulbs, turn signal, running lights, and break lights, as they are so cheap. Also check deck light or top break light if applicable for burn outs.
