A plant grows or forms when the cells produced more cells. Some of these replace old cells but others are what make the plant grow or "form".
The gabi plant (Colocasia esculenta) being a tropical plant cultivated for its tuberous rhizomes needs more water for better plant growth. It has very broad leaves which leads to high rate of transpiration, hence water soaked areas provide conditions of better growth.
corn grows best in winter because it needs alot of water
In my experience milk just makes the pot plant moldy and smelly.
the more you water a plant the healthier it will be and if you don't water a plant very often it will be unhealthy, wither and die.

The plant has less chlorophyll to produce energy
No because pumpkin is a plant and it grows by its own when providing nutrients, water, soil, sunlight and more. It uses photosynthesis to grow and give food by itself. We can help them grow by giving them water, putting them in a sunny area and more. Mammals are the only organisms that grow when fed milk at young age.

transpiration is the loss of water vapour from the leaves of the plant, therefore the bigger the surface area of the leaf, the more water vapour lost from the plant.
Because you make food with sugar and water and if you add sugar water it will produce more food and soon enough you will have to much food and will not hold.
