you reformat it
to fix the everlasting loading screen on the R4 DS, get an earlier version of the software. I found a file called English-1.12 which when loaded fixes the loading problem.
You either have the wrong firmware or no firmware installed. If your R4 has any extra labels like R4Ultra, or R4Pro, etc. then you'll have to check the packaging for a website. If it's the original R4, go to www.r4ds.cn. Go to the website, download the latest firmware, and extract it to the root of your MicroSD card. And if it still keeps on happening go to youtube and watch the videos ok best of luck
Try restarting it!
Hi, I have just got the r4 revolution card for nds, loaded the software that cam with it but it still says loading? Also I have tried other versions but still no joy. Each time I have tried different software with no games attached, still it says loading. Can any one help please Regards Bazza ___________________________________________________________________ To solve this is to format your micro DS card first, then download the RIGHT firmware. You will find that on the card, there is a website, download your firmware on that website only. This should work perfectly. ShaneTFletcher. If the r4 card pause at "loading", it must be broken. Just contact the reseller for exchange. you may need to update the r4 kernel.
Buy legal Nintendo DS games. (you won't get any other answers on wikianswers)
it will but it will keep freezing you will have to wait for a patch to come out to fix that
If that is the only game that freezes, then the rom must be faulty. You may as well download another rom and put it into your r4. If it happens with all your games, then the software in your r4 might be faulty.
to use the r4 card, you also need a MicroSD card, which is used for game and r4 kernel loading. 1. download the latest r4 kernel from official website, it is a zipped patch. 2. Unzip the patch, you can get several files. 3. Copy all files to the root directory of the MicroSD card. 4. Download some games, unzip it, and put them to the root directory of the MicroSD card. Insert the MicroSD card into the r4 card, and put r4 card into the console, then you can start to play games.
You need to download a english/ japan, etc. version to make it work. It happened with mine, but I easily found out (You don't have to buy a new R4 card, at least.
you must download the original firmware (1.16, 1.17, 1.18(updated) ) than open it with winRar and extract to your sd usb,
It depends what problem you are having. If you don't have a CD for it then you have to download a kernel from http://r4ds.cn/download/r4_v1.18_kernel.HTML
