Yes. It is possible to get a tattoo with the permission of a parent/guardian. Although if you're too young your body may still be changing and could change the appearance of the tattoo later on.

No one under the age of 18 can get a tattoo without parental permission, at least not in a licensed tattoo shop.
I think if you have parent permission any age is fine anywhere. if not 18.
You have to be 18 to get a tattoo in North Carolina. Some places will do it for those over 16 with a parent's permission, but not every parlor will.
if u have a parent or guardian's permission...and most the time they have to be present. :) It depends. Probably because my friend Charissa got a permanent tattoo when she was 11
A minor can obtain a tattoo in Florida. It requires a notarized permission of a parent. The shop will provide the exact items they require in order to do so.
In most places, you must be 18 to get a tattoo without parental consent. It is important to wait until you are of legal age to avoid any legal or health risks associated with getting a tattoo underage. If you are set on the idea, consider discussing your reasons with a trusted adult or waiting until you are old enough.
The laws vary in the US from state to state. Some do not allow a minor to get a tattoo at all. Others allow a 16 year old to get one with permission. Some require the parents to be present when the tattoo is put on.
It may be possible in some states to obtain a tattoo even if you are a minor provided that you have the permission of your parents to get the tattoo. Most commonly, a parent would need to be present. In certain states, it might be sufficient for a minor to turn up to a tattoo shop with a notarized statement. In that case, the notarized statement would be a written statement by the minor's parents giving the minor permission to be tattooed. The purpose of notarization is to ensure that the note is not forged, e.g. by the minor himself.
For the most part, as long as you're 18 years of age you can get a tattoo in the US.In Texas, the legal age is 18.....Allowed only if it is to cover an obscene or offensive tattoo.Even then, either notarized written consent must be provided by the parent/guardian OR the tattoo must be applied in the presence of the parent or guardian.
