The Ranthambhore Tiger Reserve is located in the Sawai Madhopur district of Rajasthan, India. Nestled at the edge of the Aravalli Range, it covers an area of approximately 1,334 square kilometers. The reserve is situated about 180 kilometers southeast of the state capital, Jaipur, and is easily accessible by road and rail. Known for its rich biodiversity and historic Ranthambhore Fort, the reserve is one of India’s premier wildlife sanctuaries, renowned for its population of Bengal tigers.
