There are many dams in Pakistan. The names of famous four dams are; Tarbela, Mangla, Warsak, and Chashma.
Chashma Unit I is operating with a power output of 300 MWe. Chashma Unit II is undergoing testing, and is able to produce 300 MWe. Chashma Units III and IV are under construction or planned with a power output of 340 MWe each.

Only one main dam, Tarbela Dam. Other is for hydro-power generation only, called Ghazi-Barotha Dam. A barrage after Tarbela diverts some of the water towards this Dam and after generation of electricity the water is diverted back to indus. Indus have many barrages.
