Main sequence stars are located on the H-R diagram based on their luminosity or absolute magnitude verses their spectral class and effective temperature.
Where a main sequence star (or any star) is located on the Hertzsprung-Russell Diagram is based on its temperature and brightness.
Main Sequence blue giants such as Rigel are located on the left-hand side of the H-R diagram. The order is O B A F G K M, and these are spectral classes based on color and temperature. The hottest stars burn blue/white because blue light has the shortest wavelengths and the highest temperatures. Moderate stars like our sun, a type G star, are found in the center of the Main Sequence, and red dwarf stars are found on the right-hand end, in the K and M classes.
Pollux is an orange giant star located about 34 light years from earth. It would no doubt have been used to help form the Hertzsprung-Russell diagram, showing temperatures of stars vs. luminosity. Its temperature is around 4865 Kelvin and it has a luminosity of 32 times that of our own sun.

They are very hot stars.

Stars condense slowly out of coulds of hydrogen. But the final stage is quick as the star starts to radiate at a very high temperature. Stars start very hot so they are on the left of the HR diagram (the main sequence). How high up they are on the diagram depends on their mass.
Stars' brightness and temperature are typically represented on a Hertzsprung-Russell (H-R) diagram. An average star like the Sun would be located on the "Main Sequence" portion of the graph, where brightness increases as temperature increases.

In a broad line on the left called the Main Sequence.
A main-sequence star is one that is along a curve where the majority of stars are located, when plotted in an H-R diagram. It is a star that gets its energy from fusing hydrogen-1 into helium-4.
A Hertzsprung-Russell diagram is a scatter graph that can be used to plot the relationship between the absolute magnitude (i.e. luminosity) of a star versus it's spectral type / classification and effective temperature. Since a black hole does not have an absolute magnitude, spectral type, or an effective temperature, it cannot be located on an H-R diagram.
It depends on which of them. The one for coolant is located in the water inlet. Ambient temperature sensor is located in the filter box.
It really depends on where you are located - in terms of geographical area.
The Water Temperature Sensor Assembly is located in the thermostat housing. It's explicit location is shown as Ref #15 in the diagram listed in the 'Sources and Related Links' section of this answer. (located below)
Depends on how deep the lake is, and the climate where the lake is located.
I am not a tech, but I looked up parts for my Olds on GMparts worldwide and they provided a diagram to show locations of parts. The diagram is located next to Add to Cart and it is called view illustration. It is great. Hope this helps
