Tumi at one point always felt proud that their bags were manufactured in the us, Georgia. I was in the luggage industry for a good thirty years and always remeber their bags being made in the states. It has now been 10 years since I had gotten out of the industry and I still am still interested in the industry to see the changes. One amazing and sad change is that I just received a box from Tumi for a guest that I am currently working for, and the box is clearly marked "MADE IN Thailand". Iam sure their prices are still up there and yet they are going out of the US to have their bags manufactured.
Any feedback, I am curious how others feel about this.
