Unplug the yellow connectors under the drivers seat and spray both sides with contact spray. Reconnect and problem should be solved. If not, try the same thing on the passenger side. If that doesn't work, repeat process on botgh seats.
the airbag module is located under the center console, between the seats under the carpet. the wiring comes out the back and under the drivers seat. if you want to cut the carpet instead of removing both seats, start at the hump and cut towards the front so you don't cut the wires.
some times it the wires under the seats that make the air bag light stay one just reach under the seats and wiggle the wires till the light goes out simple as that

It is usually bad connections under both seats a common problem usually cured by snipping off the connectors and soldering the wires together make sure you connect the correct wires together ,.Make sure you disconnect the battery and leave for an hour before starting work or the airbag will detonate when fiddling with the wires.also if its a D8 406 make sure you know your radio code as it will need resetting
Airbag system fault or air bag / seat pretensioner fired. If both the seat belt and air bag warning lights are on it could be that one of the plugs under the front seats has come away from its socket. Look under the front of the front seats and you'll find the plug and socket.
